Martha Lynn Kale’s New Website

When you look at the list of accomplishments of Austin salon owner Martha Lynn Kale, you may not be surprised she has a large amount of creative juices that may get a little bottled up and need to come out at some point.  As the owner of Mirror Mirror Salon, Martha has embarked on a new venture launching her own lifestyle blog to uncork and share with others her love of entertaining, arts, crafts, fashion and more.   I attended Martha’s recent launch party at her salon with my husband and my dog Cooper, (who seemed to not only keep my husband company but understand my dog also attracted all the pretty girls in the salon, which my husband didn’t mind at all!)
Blogging and writing is not an entirely new venture for this Austin Fashion Week award-winning stylist  — you may have read some of her articles she writes for another famous Austin lifestyle blogger, Camille Styles.  Three years into running her own business she found there was a trend from her clients.  “Clients ask the same questions, over and over again and so I can create content they want to see, so they can go to a place and see the content that they need”, said Kale.
Hair topics, of course, are Martha Lynn’s most popular topic on her new website and features the latest updos, how to tutorials and tips on make up trends, but she also has added a design feature element, a family aspect, and all around fun, entertaining and engaging articles.   I found myself enjoying a Twitter photo for Halloween where she was dressed up as Rachel Zoe and Rachel actually responded!  While most of the articles are all created by Martha, she did indicate in 2014 she will add contributors to staff.
When  asked if the Austin community has embraced her new venture, she replied, “It’s the only reason why I would do it, everyone has been so supportive.”
Cheers to you Martha Lynn and I know your local followers and your growing community will enjoy your entertaining content and brand.
