Flood Benefit Set for June 6 Has a Fashion Twist

11412346_10207400723882830_8983585275580777942_nTo help with the flood damaged area in Hays and Travis County you can attend a benefit this weekend thanks to four Austin designers.   The event is set for  Saturday, June 6, 11am-4pm at The High Road on Dawson, 700 Dawson Road, Austin, TX 78704 (1block south of my studio), The High Road on Dawson has graciously offered their Patio Room for our event. There will be an unrelated simultaneous event going on with music and Bloody Mary specials until 1:30pm. The High Road has a cash bar with very affordable prices.

Beth McElhaney started creating beaded jewelry over 20 years ago in Austin Texas. Her original design roots began with African trade beads which she purchased directly from African traders. Over the years her palette has grown to include gemstones, freshwater pearls as well as vintage and contemporary glass and crystal beads, and many of her designs are one-of-a-kind. She was honored to have designed a line for 2015 Grammy Award Madame Chair Christine Albert, which she wore to assorted events during the Grammys in February.
