Watch Austin Stylist on the International Web Airwaves for MSN

Leonardo HSFashion guru Leonardo D’Almagro has already made quite a name for himself, locally and globally. Recently, though, he has scored big time, as he is now partnering with msn.com to be the new on-camera talent for their online magazine GLO.
“I’m grateful, excited and super happy, especially since the MSN team cast in Latin America and the USA,” the fashion consultant said. “Being selected – and especially being an Austin fashion community member and working with a production company from San Antonio…altogether it’s exciting to represent the Texas fashion community internationally.”
A “destination for everyday inspiration,” GLO brings audiences the latest style, beauty, living and relationship stories, making it the perfect niche for D’Almagro’s fashionable talent. The magazine was launched in 2010 by Lloyd Braun and Gail Berman, the minds behind Wonderwall, which also delivers pop culture and related trending news.
Hachette, the publisher of Elle, Woman’s Day and Elle Décor, also teamed up with GLO to provide editorial content for the imaginative site, and D’Almagro’s beautiful fashion scenes and magazine spreads will pair greatly with the deeply visual presentation of this MSN publication.
The position will also put him in a featured position for the US Hispanic market and all Latin America regions, credit that goes to his current representation – 13th Floor Studios, a content development house, and Agence Red Wall, a model management company – both located in San Antonio.
Originally from Venezuela, Leonardo was taught the ins and outs of advertising and marketing at the Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Industrial Rodolfo Loero Arismendi and Universidad Santa Maria. This education spurred him on to work as a manager of marketing departments for international companies and to serve as a director for a bi-national chamber of commerce.
In 2006, he moved to Austin after being hired by Dell as a technical account manager for the Latin America region, managing them in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Now, though, his portfolio boasts glamorous fashion spreads, look-books, videos and runway productions. His styling, hosting and business skills have led him to assist local and international designers and fashion companies. This success has led him to be named a style ambassador by Harper’s Bazaar, dress Emmy Awards-Nominee Gabriela Natale and host fashion segments with Fashionably Yours televised by YNN.
D’Almagro likes to center his high-quality and creative work around other professionals who share his passions, as he is constantly looking for new talent, to keep the fashion world innovative and growing.
The businessman’s hard work extends beyond styling, though, as he has spent a great deal of time doing volunteer work. From encouraging bullied victims and helping young people reach educational goals to being involved with The Arc of the Capital Areas, Latinitas and The Horse Boy Foundation, his dedication to building other’s self-confidence has positively affected many lives.
