Austin Jewelry Designer Rachel Nathan Launches New Jewelry Collection

Rachel Nathan Design – Fall 2021 Collection
Uncovering a new Austin talent is always exciting, and when we got to sit down and talk one-on-one with a dynamic Austin jewelry designer, we jumped at the opportunity.

Let us introduce to you Rachel Nathan, the designer behind the Rachel Nathan Design (RND) brand. When we met her, we instantly experienced a vivacious personality and heard a woman with an inspiring story and who has a fascinating perspective on life.  Rachel’s type-A personality, work ethic, and energy fueled the recent launch of her 2021 winter jewelry collection.  The collection also includes pieces for men!

Designing jewelry since 2018, she has since landed features in Vogue and Shape magazines. But through the years, she has overcome some major life obstacles including infertility (she has a beautiful daughter now), a major career change (she left a corporate branding and marketing job), and a move (a quiet townhouse is now home). It is fitting her collection is named Resilience.

Resilience includes new iterations of Rachel Nathan Design’s most popular solid brass chain bracelets, high-end beaded/stone bracelets (e.g. malachite, moonstone, spinel, rutilated quartz), as well as a stunning and intersectional necklace collection, which features more than 175 pieces.

“My story intersects the power of resilience with the vulnerability of recognizing the vital role courage plays in one’s own transformation,” said Nathan.

Nathan aims to design with intention and quality in mind, using Indian brass and quality solid brass and gold-filled hardware.  When you work with Rachel one-on-one, you receive a personal jewelry “fitting” for your wrist.

“I believe everything you do is a direct representation of your values,” Nathan said. “My new collection speaks to the intersection of vulnerability and courage and faith and culture. My pieces are designed to serve as a reminder of ones’ strength and use symbols that serve to unify us versus divide.”
