The Christian Siriano fashion show was one of THE shows to see at fashion week. This Project Runway winner seems to have a draw that many only wish to have. Every time I turned around, there was a segment airing featuring this young designer.
In comparison from Siriano’s Spring collection, this show was in my opinion a very clean and more wearable collection. Most of the pieces were in black with a few in a deep navy and the accent color in shades of magenta and eggplant. The romantic soft ruffle accents were strong in many of the pieces as well as black sparkle voile tops. The final show stopper gown was similar to one from Spring 2010, but this one was in vibrant fushia. Wow.
On a special local note, Alan Ruiz from Jackson Ruiz salon and two of his team members from the salon, assisted with the hair for this show.
