The annual Aids Services of Austin fashion show is a much anticipated event every year. The nearly 30 minute show was full of fun fashions from Saks Fifth Avenue and Men’s Wearhouse. Several restaurants were on site and provided some great food and attendees took to the tables for some fun “non” gambling…gambling and was a fitting theme, “Viva Las Vegas Monte Carlo”.
Emcees for the event were Todd Boatwright, News 8 Austin’s morning anchor and Rachel Elsberry from Pickie Pie Productions. This was a prime fundraiser for the organization and money raised from the event will provide services for more than 10,000 needy Austinites who are HIV positive and those with AIDS. Services include food, prevention, education and counseling services.
