Austin Fashion Designers, Boutiques and Industry Fashionably Austin - Austin Fashion Connected

top

Thank you for visiting Fashionably Austin!  It has been nearly five years since I had this vision to launch Austin’s first all fashion website and now it is FINALLY here.  I hope you enjoy the site and share fashion stories, ideas, and everything fashion in our area so we can to build a stronger fashion community…and of  course have a lot of fun in the process!!

I have seen the fashion scene grow since I started my Austin fashion reporting in 1999,  and wow has it changed.  It’s so exciting to say we have some of the industry fashion leaders and trendsetters.

Since this is my actual first blog entry I would like to say thank you to few people who  made this all happen.

Melissa Shea, Iron Daisy Design.  Her vision on how I wanted the site to look and feel was right on.  And not only did I get a great looking logo and web site, Melissa is now a great friend.  She makes me think out of the box and continues to guide me with how I can grow personally and professionally.

Robin Campbell, Cupidz Clozet.  Robin was aware of my vision for Fashionably Austin years ago and was SO encouraging and supportive of the idea.  Without hesitation she said “do it!”   That little voice I kept hearing was what kept the project alive for me.   Everyone needs a “Robin” in their life.

Amy McMurrough, McMurrough and Associates and Jenel Looney, Hometown Georgetown.  You both helped me with copy for the site and I thank you both for that. Everyone’s contribution is really appreciated.

Christopher Stephens and Budro Partida from Uptown Studios.  Your production expertise is priceless!  The commercials look great, web videos, all the animated graphics.  WOW!

A big thank you and hug to my wonderful step-daughter, Brittany, who is an incredible writer and creative thinker (she wrote the fashion quiz and it’s hard!) She will bring a much-needed, younger prospective to the site.

Marnie Cooper, Marnie Bugs.  Reconnecting with Marnie was like seeing an old friend and picking up just where we left off.   Her handbag and accessory business has grown so much and it couldn’t happen to a nicer person.   She provided an incredible bag for our launch promotion.

Enjoy the site.  Fashionably Austin.  Local Fashion. Connected!
