Hello!  And welcome to the new look of Fashionably Austin!  Austin’s Fashion Magazine.

I am so thrilled that you are here and visiting the site.  It is such a fitting time to launch this project with Austin Fashion Week 2012 upon us and I can’t wait to share with you all the exciting videos, coverage and ATX Street Style pics from all the events.

I am humbled every day that I get to not only work in the advertising business with my Bemis Digital Media company, but also get to enjoy the fashion business and be on the pulse Austin fashion and from the end of the runways at New York Fashion Week.  My Austin fashion roots run very deep here and I promise to give you the best fashion and event coverage from the site.  The FA team has  some of the best photographers, Gregg Cestaro and Sparky Anderson and you’ll be seeing them around town along with Sammantha Johnson, Rachel Elsberry, Johnny Cardoza, Sheridan Butler and  Nicole Pape .

I would also like to thank Rene Zain of Catalyst Design Services.  He patiently helped me take my vision into reality and created the new look and layout for Fashionably Austin 2.0.  It took nearly four months to get to today’s launch.   Please accept my personal thank you Rene!
